**This top is one-of-a-kind. Size M (measurements below). Made from a vintage lace tablecloth.**
This top is made from a vintage Quaker Lace Co. tablecloth. The fabric is medium weight (heavy for lace) with a subtle sheen & a beautiful drape. I believe the content to be a cotton/rayon blend, however, it could have a small percentage of polyester in it also. The company started adding poly to their lace in the 1960's or 70's, but in such a small amount that it can be hard to tell just by feel. Either way, it's an absolutely gorgeous fabric - molding to the contours of the body, without being clingy. The color is soft ivory.
Made to last, with French seams & reinforced stitching. Arm holes are bound with lightweight silk fabric. I recommend hand washing & line drying this piece. Can be ironed on lowest setting if necessary.
Easy-to-wear shape flatters a variety of body types. Please note, this top is cut very low at the arm holes. For more coverage, it can be layered over bra, tank, or cami.
This piece is made from a vintage tablecloth. Minor imperfections are to be expected & are part of the charm. Anything major will be noted.
This tablecloth had some discoloration that I wasn't able to fully remove. I decided to make this top anyway, even though I wouldn't be able to fully avoid the spots, because I didn't want any of this lovely fabric to go to waste. There is some discoloration on the straps, close to where they attach to the back bodice. I have tried to show this in both the video and the close up photo. Priced accordingly.
This top is a size M but fits more like a Medium/Large because the fabric has a small amount of stretch. The fit is very forgiving and somewhat adjustable, but please see below for exact garment measurements.
Garment Measurements: Length = 23" (shoulder to shortest part of hem), Chest = 44", Waist = 48".
