**This dress is one-of-a-kind. Size XL (measurements below). Made from a vintage linen tablecloth, with beautiful hand embroidery.**
- The Solstice Dress. Perfect for multiple seasons (I wear it on both the summer & winter solstice, hence the name). Works with a strappy bra or tank in the summer, or layered over a long-sleeved tee & leggings in the fall & winter. Easy-to-wear shape flatters a variety of body types. On-seam pockets.
- Below the knee length, depending on your height. 37" from shoulder to the shortest part of the hem. Longer at the sides than at the center front & back. Model is 5'4" for reference.
- Fabric is a beautiful, mid-weight linen with lots of drape. It's a soft white - not quite ivory, but not optic white either. Hand cross-stitched leaf & acorn motifs are beautifully done. The pockets are made from a set of matching napkins, because the tablecloth wasn't large enough to cut pockets from. The color of the napkins doesn't quite match the color of the tablecloth - they're a darker shade of ivory/cream. (This happens frequently with vintage sets. I think it's because the tablecloths were laundered at a different frequency than the napkins, but that's just my guess.)
- Made to last, with French seams & reinforced stitching. I kept the original tablecloth hem to preserve as much length as possible. I recommend hand washing & line drying because of the hand embroidery.
- Please note, this dress is cut low at the arm holes. Personally, I wear this style on its own when it's super hot outside and/or I'm in my own house or garden, but this depends on your comfort level with showing 'side boob'. For more coverage, it can be layered over a bra, tank, or t-shirt.
- This dress is made from a vintage tablecloth. Minor imperfections are to be expected & are part of the charm. Anything major will be noted.
- This dress is a size XL (size chart below). The fit is very forgiving and somewhat adjustable.
Garment Measurements: Length = 41" (shoulder to shortest part of hem), Chest = 48", Waist = 54", Hips = 60".
Size Chart: This dress is designed to be worn with lots of positive ease. The body measurements below are a guideline, but the fit is quite flexible. See above for actual garment measurements.
Choose size according to your bust measurement. If you're between sizes, I recommend sizing down.
